The Rabbit’s Lair

The Rabbit’s Lair is at home in a perfectly preserved building in historical downtown Rogers, Arkansas.  Located on the first floor is the fabric, wool and stitchery shop, and upstairs is the yarn shop and classrooms.

When you walk in the front door, you will immediately be struck by how beautifully the architecture of the building complements the inventory.  Originally a pharmacy, the dark wood shelves and glass display cases now hold fabrics, kits and supplies. A variety of styles of fabric from reproduction to modern will satisfy every taste.  Quilts for inspiration are hung on frames near the tin ceiling.  All along the shop are displays of irresistible items.

Located behind the fabric is a room dedicated to hand dyed and felted wool.  The shop specializes in wool appliqué kits and constantly changes the samples to inspire customers with needle and thread.

Upstairs is an open and airy yarn shop, stocked with the finest in yarns, needles, patterns and accessories.  A variety of classes for hand and machine techniques is on every schedule.  Popular now are clubs meeting monthly.  The hand work classes are held in an elegant front parlor furnished with comfortable couches, chairs and tables.  The machine work classroom has everything needed to complete those projects.

The Rabbit’s Lair has its own unique way of saying “Come in, you’re welcome to visit and stay awhile!”  From the minute a customer crosses the threshold, they are greeted and made into a friend.  Our staff enjoys learning where they are from, what they like to do to nurture their creative side and how they can help them realize their dream project.
