Quilter’s Stash

My mother Lois was the inspiration for the quilt shop adventure at Quilter’s Stash. As a child, my mother made all my clothes and when I became an adult, we learned to quilt together. I have always had a love for fabric and colors for quilts and Mother’s passion is the process of quilting, so together we make a good team.

For years we had been talking about opening a business together and after 28 years of working in an office, I decided it was time for a change and opened Quilter’s Stash. Now our dream has become a reality; I get to choose fabrics for samples and patterns and she gets to create new projects. Even at the age of 90, this spunky little lady with rheumatoid arthritis still comes to the shop when her health allows.

Quilting is something we love and we hope that through our shop in Windsor we can share that love with you; and that you will always find a warm, friendly welcome here. We will always try to carry new lines and products that will inspire you and encourage you as you develop your own projects. As a Judy Niemeyer certified shop, we always have a large selection of batiks, patterns, and kits to make Judy’s spectacular projects.
